Sandwick Boating and Swimming Club
SBSC use the pier throughout the summer months as the base for their activities which include races for Sandsayre Maids and Mirror Dinghies. The club welcomes visitors and anyone wishing to join in can contact the club secretary by calling: 0788178830.
Mousa Ferries
The Mousa Ferry runs from Sandsayre Pier throughout the summer months providing a safe and convenient way to reach the beautiful island of Mousa in under 15 minutes.

Shetland Sub-Aqua Club
Shetland Sub-Aqua Club use Sandsayre Pier when diving around the island of Mousa, most notably on the wrecks of the SS St Sunniva (wrecked 1932) and the MV Murrayfield (wrecked 1944).
Fishermen
Many local fishermen use the pier to access the fishing grounds round Mousa. Also a shell fish boats works out of Sandsayre throughout the summer months.
